The published prices
From 12 January 2026 the park lists the city-only ticket, called Pompeii Express, at €20. Suburban villas are not included. Pompeii+ is €25 and adds Villa of the Mysteries, Villa of Diomedes, and Villa Regina at Boscoreale, with a shuttle. A three-day ticket that also covers Oplontis, the Stabiae villas, and the Stabiae museum is €30. Other single sites are €8. Visitors under 18 are free. EU citizens from 18 to under 25 pay €2. Everyone is free on the first Sunday of the month. Tickets are personal, checked against an ID, and the city is capped at 20,000 entries a day. The park has announced a single €25 ticket from 1 January 2027. If your date falls under a new tariff, we reprice before you pay.
An Express ticket can add the suburban route for €8, by card, at the Herculaneum Gate on the Street of the Tombs. That add-on cannot be bought on its own. Last entrance there is 17:30 in the long season and 15:30 in the short season.
On the ground
- Bring the ID that matches the name on the ticket.
- Most of the city is uncovered. A hat and water matter more than a schedule.
- The forum, the streets, and the houses are the visit. Two to three hours is a fair morning. A full day still leaves streets unseen.
- We do not sell a way around the daily cap.
